Officers swooped on Wednesday at around 6.30pm on the village properties and recovered the drugs.

Other items associated with the alleged supply of drugs were also seized at the property.

Two men aged 33 and 39 and a 23 year-old woman were arrested in connection with alleged drugs offences and a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.

Detective Inspector Alan Sommerville said: “This recovery will certainly make an impact on the supply of drugs making their way onto our streets.

“Drugs bring so much misery to families and members of our communities, but people can be assured that tackling drugs is a priority for us.

“This seizure is significant and reinforces our commitment to rid our streets and communities of drugs and the suffering they can bring.”
