KIEV: Ukraine is discussing the possibility of gas imports from Turkmenistan, Anton Kolyshnik, a representative of Ukrtransgas strategic planning department, told journalists on Wednesday, as quoted by TASS.
“However, the Turkmen gas may diversify the purchases alongside with liquefied natural gas imports,” Kolyshnik said clarifying that it was his personal expert opinion.
He also said that Russia was unlikely to agree to that option under the current political situation in Ukraine.
