KIEV: Ukrainian milling wheat prices continued to strengthen both in export and domestic markets. By the end of last week export prices for Ukrainian milling wheat with 12.5% and 11.5% protein increased by another USD 3-4. It should be noted that it’s becoming more difficult for Ukrainian exporters to sell 3rd grade wheat, mainly due to increased competition with Russia.
In the domestic market producers continued to restrain high-quality wheat sales waiting for further price growth. Last week 2nd and 3rd grade wheat prices gained UAH 50.
