KIEV: Since the beginning of 2016/17 MY, Ukraine exported 16.8 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on November 22, referring to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
In particular, wheat exports totaled 9.5 mln tonnes, corn – 3.2 mln tonnes, and barley – nearly 4 mln tonnes. Also, wheat flour exports reached 131 thsd tonnes, and flour from other grains – 0.4 thsd tonnes, according to APK-Inform. According to the announcement, in 2015/16 MY Ukraine supplied the record volumes of grains on foreign markets – 39.4 mln tonnes. The Ministry forecasts the export volumes in the current season at 41 mln tonnes of grains.
