Ukraine exports 18.71 mln tons of grains

KIEV: Since the beginning of 2015/16 MY, and as of December 11, Ukraine exported 18.71 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

In particular, wheat exports totaled 9.341 mln tonnes, corn – 5.405 mln tonnes, barley – 3.853 mln tonnes, and other grains – 111 thsd tonnes. According to the announcement, as of reporting date there were loaded nearly 394 thsd tonnes of grains to the vessels.

Thus, the general volume of exported and prepared for exports grains reached 19.104 mln tonnes (including 9.474 mln tonnes of wheat, 3.853 mln tonnes of barley, 5.666 mln tonnes of corn).

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the bid prices on the domestic market varied depending on the region: 3-grade wheat – 2800-4000 UAH/t, 6-grade feed wheat – 2620-3725 UAH/t.
