KIEV: Since the beginning of 2015/16 MY, and as of May 31, Ukraine exported 36.459 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. In particular, wheat exports totaled 15.514 mln tonnes, corn – 16.431 mln tonnes, barley – 4.298 mln tonnes, and other grains – 216 thsd tonnes.
According to the announcement, as of reporting date there were loaded nearly 324 thsd tonnes of grains to the vessels. Thus, the general volume of exported and prepared for exports grains reached 37.18 mln tonnes (including 16.094 mln tonnes of wheat, 4.303 mln tonnes of barley, 16.563 mln tonnes of corn).
