KIEV: Ukraine has imported 370 million cubic meters of gas from the counties of the European Union in the period between December 1 and December 27.
Head of PJSC Ukrtransgaz press service Maksym Biliavsky wrote on his Facebook page.
“On the whole, from the beginning of December (December 1-27) 370 million cubic meters were delivered from Europe for the needs of Ukraine. At present, the bids have been received to import natural gas from Europe in the amount of 13 million cubic meters per day. Slovakia – 10.6 million cubic meters per day, Hungary – 500,000 cubic meters per day, Poland – 2 million cubic meters per day,” Biliavsky wrote.
In general, a total of 10.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas were supplied from Europe, according to Biliavsky.
In addition, natural gas has not been imported from Russia over this period of time.
