KIEV: The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine increased the forecast of grain exports in 2015/16 MY to 37 mln tonnes, as opposed to the previous index of 36 mln tonnes, declared the Minister of Agrarian Policy, Oleksiy Pavlenko on February 10.
According to O.Pavlenko, during the following five months Ukraine will export 15 mln tonnes of grains. As a reminder, since the beginning of 2015/16 MY and as of February 3, Ukraine supplied 23.85 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets. In particular, the export volumes of wheat reached 11.066 mln tonnes, barley – 3.94 mln tonnes, and corn – 8.691 mln tonnes.
