KIEV: A representative of Credit Agricole Bank, Jean-Jacques Herve, at the XII International Conference “Black Sea Grain 2015” said that Ukraine’s grain potential is 100 MMT, with export of 30-35 MMT. At the same time, he believes grain export to the EU is limited.
Among the immediate tasks for the agrisector of Ukraine, the speaker pointed out the following: development of partnerships as a key to obtaining loans, management stability, increase in yields of the more profitable products, production increase of milk, fruits, vegetables, logistics development.
The speaker also suggested not to increase significantly the agricultural production (except for milk and meat), due to limited processing capacities.
