WARSAW: Unemployment in Poland stayed at a record low of 7.1 percent in July, the same level as in June, the country’s Family, Labour and Social Policy Ministry estimated on Friday.
Joblessness stood at 7.4 percent in May, according to the country’s Central Statistical Office. In June 2016, unemployment was at 8.7 percent, while two years ago it was in the double digits. In April this year unemployment fell to 7.7 percent, the lowest level in 26 years and down by 0.4 percentage point on March.
