WARSAW: July unemployment in Poland came in at 7.1 percent, according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS), in line with labour ministry forecasts and unchanged from the month before. About 1.14 million were unemployed last month, some 11,000 fewer than in June. Joblessness in the second quarter was about five percent, down from 5.4 percent in the first quarter, GUS said.
