Urban unit completes property survey of Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: The Urban Unit of Urban Immovable Property Taxation (UIPT) has completed the property survey of Faisalabad.

According to the official details, the urban unit has completed the data of property district Faisalabad which has been divided into 43 circles. The data regarding property of district Faisalabad has been finalised and transferred to the Excise and Taxation regional office Faisalabad. After operational computerized property data, all the property matters, including transfer of properties, property taxes and other services will be provided to the consumers at one window system.

A source said that the inauguration of this computerized property system would start from November 2014. According to the source, Ahmad Aziz Tarar, Director General Excise and Taxation Punjab will visit the next month to make it operational. The Excise Department wanted to bring new immovable properties into the tax net. He added that the property computerized system would help to enhance the property tax network.
