YUMA: Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents seized 164 pounds of marijuana, worth $82,000, and arrested five individuals.
Agents assigned to Wellton Station tracked a group of footprints discovered south of Interstate 8 and heading north near Gila Bend. They eventually came upon five men sleeping next to five makeshift backpacks of marijuana.
All five men admitted to entering the U.S. illegally and were processed per Yuma Sector guidelines.
