KARACHI: The United States (US) remained the top export destination of Pakistani products during the first eight months of the fiscal year 2025-26, followed by China and the United Kingdom (UK).
Total exports to the US during July-February 2025-26 were recorded at US$ 4.156 billion against the exports of US$ 4.011 billion during July-February 2024-25, showing an increase of 3.61 percent, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
China ranked second, wherein Pakistan exported goods worth US $1.692 billion against the exports of US$ 1.698 billion last year, showing a nominal decrease of 0.35 percent.
UK remained the third-largest export destination, where Pakistan exported products worth US$ 1.441 billion during the period under review against the exports of US$ 1.443 billion, SBP data revealed.
Among other major trading countries, Pakistani exports to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) stood at US$ 1.424 billion against US$ 1.415 billion last year, while the exports to Germany were recorded at US$ 1.108 billion from US$ 1.135 billion last year, data said.
During July-February 2025-26, the exports to Holland were recorded at US $979.789 million against US$ 1,002.406 million, whereas the exports to Italy stood at US$ 790.848 million against US$ 749.444 million.
Pakistan’s exports to Spain were recorded at US$ 1,049.904 million against the exports of US$ 795.621 million, while the exports to Afghanistan were recorded at US$ 236.411 million against US$ 595.841 million last year.
The exports to Bangladesh stood at US$ 478.148 million against US$ 526.350 million.
Similarly, the exports to France during the period under review were recorded at US$ 360.578 million against US$ 374.580 million, while the exports to Belgium stood at US$ 370.053 million against US$ 384.252 million.
Pakistan’s exports to Saudi Arabia were recorded at US$ 463.708 million during the current year, compared to US$ 490.873 million last year, whereas the exports to Turkiye stood at US$ 132.512 million against US$ 194.748 million.
