NEW YORK: The County Commission rightly implemented a county bus system, which was not the old system proposed. It is, however, a needed service to help our people financially harmed by government policies instituted under pressure from the chamber of commerce crowd. We have the right to address injustices piled on us by the Wall Street crime syndicate. We have the right to petition the commission as much as any businessman. It’s time we did so.
New county transit bus system supposedly the last election killed the idea forever. The main opposition was from the “greater” chamber of commerce crowd. This is the same outfit that haunts the local halls of government and, through state and national affiliates, the distant halls of government nonstop.
They “lobby,” “free speech cash” bribe, and intimidate elected officials to get them to double-cross voters on a nonstop basis. That’s how we got the county tax to subsidize rocket rides for the rich. How we got “trade treaties” that sent our jobs to the Asian slave plantations. How we got laws that make it legal for Wall Street to steal our savings through “crashes.”
