DETROIT: U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Detroit Field Office is hosting its 5th annual Trade Day.
The event takes place Wednesday at the Patrick V. McNamara Building in Detroit. Those involved in Trade Day say that it offers the chance for U.S. and Canadian importers, brokers and other trade groups to network with officials from the U.S. and Canada.
Participants include Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Others include the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the Canadian Border Services Agency and the Canadian Food Inspection Service. Advance registration was required for the event.
