WEST PALM BEACH: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations (OFO) officers assigned to West Palm Beach, Florida arrested a passenger arriving from the Bahamas wanted in Mississippi for a violation of probation for forgery.U.S. Customs and Border Protection operations in Florida
Clifton Magee, 45, was fingerprinted and his identity was confirmed. The Riviera Beach Police Department confirmed the warrant with extradition and took custody of the individual.
CBP conducts inspection operations and intercepts currency, weapons, prohibited agriculture products or other illicit items. On average CBP arrests 22 wanted persons a day at U.S. ports of entry nationwide.
While welcoming and processing all legitimate travelers and trade into this country, CBP officers enforce a host of U.S. laws to keep terrorists and other dangerous persons such as fugitives out of our neighborhoods.
