US customs confiscates $200 in heroin, 3 arrested in Port Huron

MICHIGAN: Three people were arrested and about $200 in heroin seized after a drug investigation in Port Huron.

The heroin was seized in the 1000 block of Lapeer Avenue, according to a statement from the St. Clair County Sheriff Department.

The St. Clair County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a Lapeer Avenue home during an investigation into the sale of heroin.

Officials seized cash, heroin, drug paraphernalia and cell phones.

A 31-year-old Port Huron man and two Detroit men, ages 32 and 26, were arrested and taken to jail.

They face possible charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin, frequenting a drug house and maintaining a drug house.

The St. Clair County Sheriff Special Response team, road patrol, and a Port Huron Police dog assisted at the scene.
