Investigators found an outdoor marijuana cultivation on the property. The primary suspect, Abraham Pacheco, 25, a resident of Mexico, was hired to watch over and tend to the marijuana plants growing at the location.

A total of 317 marijuana ranging in height from 2 to 3 feet tall were seized. Pacheco was arrested without incident and booked into the San Bernardino County jail for cultivating marijuana. Charges against the second suspect, Laura Guadalupe Juarez, age 26, resident of Mexico will be sent to the District Attorney’s Office for review.

Later that day, at 4:15 P.M., the Marijuana Enforcement Team served a separate search warrant at a residence located at 3323 Snow Line Drive in Pinion Hills.

Investigators located a similar outdoor marijuana grow on the property. The suspect, 33-year-old Bulmaro Arreola, a resident of Mexico, was hired to watch over and tend to the marijuana plants growing at the location.

A total 293 marijuana plants were seized. The plants ranged in height from 3 to 4 feet tall. Arreola was arrested without incident and booked into the San Bernardino County jail for cultivating marijuana.

In both cases the marijuana plants were found growing in an unsecured fenced in area. The investigation revealed both operations were part of an illegal marijuana growing operation, which was not in compliance with California medical marijuana laws.

Additionally, the County of San Bernardino has an ordinance prohibiting outdoor marijuana cultivations that are not within a secured structure. San Bernardino County Land Use / Code Enforcement personnel were at the scene and determined the cultivations were in violation of the County’s ordinance.
