US Customs: Man caught in Nogales trying to smuggle methamphetamine in tortillas

OGALES: AZ – Authorities say a man has been caught after trying to smuggle drugs inside food items.

A release from US Customs and Border Protection says a 62-year-old man tried to bring nearly three pounds of methamphetamine into the country wrapped in tortilla packages. The man was caught by a narcotics-detection canine at the pedestrian crossing, officials said.
