YUMA ARIZ: Yuma Border Patrol agents seized over $225,000 worth of drugs over the weekend. Agents found 24.5 pounds of methamphetamine and 218 pounds of marijuana in two separate incidents, according to Yuma Sector Border Patrol.
Yuma agents saw multiple people cross the border illegally along the Colorado River Friday night, April 10. The subjects dropped backpacks containing 218 pounds of marijuana on the side of the road and began to run back into Mexico as Border Patrol agents responded.

The driver of the vehicle was turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration and the vehicle was seized by the U.S. Border Patrol.
