CALIFORNIA: A traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Buffalo County led to the seizure of 3.5 lbs. of methamphetamine and the arrest of two California men.
A trooper stopped a westbound 2013 Subaru Legacy for following too closely about two miles west of the Elm Creek interchange, Nebraska State Patrol spokeswoman said.
The trooper searched the car and found six packages containing meth, Collins said.
The patrol arrested the driver, Jose Ivan Preciado, 28, of Mojave, and passenger Alberto Hineges Jr., 29, of Mendota and booked them into the Buffalo County jail on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
