DOUGLAS: Customs and Border Protection officers apprehended a Douglas teen during a failed smuggling incident at the Port of Douglas.
Officers referred a 17-year-old Douglas girl, driving a Pontiac sedan, for a secondary inspection and discovered more than 160 pounds of marijuana, worth almost $81,000, throughout the vehicle.
Officers turned the drugs, vehicle and teen over to the Douglas Police Department for further investigation.
