US CVB appoints Keith Arnold as new director of sale marketing

NEW YORK: Keith Arnold, the new director of the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB).   A selection committee which included the city manager, human resources director, City Council and Convention and Visitors Bureau Advisory Board members made the selection final in mid June. A placement company selected 12 candidates from an initial pool of 80 candidates. Arnold was selected from a final list of three candidates.

Arnold  brings  a  wealth  of  experience  in  sales,  marketing  and  management  to  the  City.He worked for over a decade as the director of the Corpus Christi CVB and most recently was the executive director of the Bee County Chamber of Commerce. The City and the CVB Advisory Board is excited to welcome Arnold to South Padre Island. He will be a great asset to the entire community.
