TOKYO: The U.S. dollar traded narrowly in the upper 119 yen range on Wednesday morning in Tokyo, pinned tightly due to a mixed bag of factors.
At noon, the dollar fetched 119.66-67 yen compared with 119.60-70 yen in New York and 119.64-65 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The euro was quoted at $1.0727-0728 and 128.37-39 yen against $1.0729-0739 and 128.41-51 yen in New York and $1.0663-0665 and 127.57-61 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon.
