US dollar trades in lower 119 yen zone early Tokyo move

TOKYO:  The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 119 yen zone early Monday in Tokyo, slightly up from its levels in New York before the weekend.

At 9 a.m., the dollar fetched 119.08-09 yen compared with 118.97-119.07 yen in New York and 118.82-84 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro was quoted at $1.1380-1381 and 135.51-52 yen against $1.1375-1385 and 135.41-51 yen in New York and $1.1355-1358 and 134.94-98 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon.
