NEVADA: Sheriff’s deputies and drug task force agents in Vernon County stopped a vehicle on Interstate 49 near Sheldon and arrested a 59-year-old man in alleged possession of about 20 grams of methamphetamine.
Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher said Thomas D. Shelton, of Hume, was arrested by deputies in communication with undercover agents of the CNET Drug Task Force. He remained in custody on a $50,000 bond.
In addition to the methamphetamine, a set of scales, small baggies and a glass pipe were seized in the traffic stop, the sheriff said.
