WASHINGTON: Two inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution in Hazelton have been convicted on charges that they helped coordinate the delivery of heroin into the prison.
US Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II says 27-year-old Marcus Brown and 24-year-old Samuel Bynum were convicted and sentenced in federal court in Clarksburg.
An investigation found that the two used telephone calls and emails to coordinate the delivery of the drug.
Each was sentenced to an additional six months in prison.
