US Kathleen McDonald appoints new executive director of MWCOC

NEW YORK: Kathleen McDonald, the new executive director of Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce (MWCOC). Kathleen McDonald has lived in Berkshire County and near Albany, New York, but family in Acton and Stow means the new executive director of Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce is no stranger this area.

After being appointed by the MWCOC board of directors, McDonald’s first day on the job was Aug. 24. She replaced Sarah Fletcher, who left the Acton-based chamber to become marketing outreach manager at Westford Community Access Television which she started Aug. 10.

She previously operated her own marketing consultancy, McDonald Marketing, in the Boston area, and has worked with the Wellness Community of Greater Boston and Nurse Practitioner Associates for Continuing Education. Prior to joining MWCOC, McDonald was executive director of Williamstown Chamber of Commerce for two years.
