GEORGIA: The Morgantown Area (MA) Chamber of Commerce held a Business after Hours event on Monday night. Members of the Chamber and business owners gathered at Lake view Resort to network. Guests were treated to food and prizes. The Chamber says these events are not only to bring people together, but to celebrate growth in Morgantown. They also support local business by rotating the event’s location each month.
“It gives our businesses an opportunity to network,” said Dan Kimble, President of the Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce. “I tell you you’d be surprised, I know I am occasionally, at some of the deals that begin at events just like this. Two business people start talking and all of a sudden they realize they share some common interest.”Business after Hours is held on the third Wednesday of each month.
