HARRISBURG: State police seized over $18 million worth of cocaine and $16 million worth of heroin in July, August and September.
Altogether, they seized over $42 million worth of heroin, marijuana and other prohibited drugs during the three months, according to a press release. Numbers for Lancaster County were not immediately available.
The haul included over 416 pounds of cocaine and over 47 pounds of heroin. Over 15 pounds of methamphetamines valued at over $720,000 and over 1,500 pounds of marijuana valued at over $4.5 million were also seized.
In 2014, the state police seized over $107 million worth of prohibited drugs.
