CHARLOTTE: Police in Charlotte seized 1,000 marijuana plants in what they say is one of the biggest pot busts ever in the Freedom Division.
The plants were found at a home on Lundy Lane in west Charlotte. Police said the high-level operation started after neighbors alerted the authorities.
Officers seized 1,000 plants, grow lights and beakers worth well over a half a million dollars.
A couple and their children live at the home. Police have not released any names or said what charges are being filed.
