SANDY SPRINGS: Police in Sandy Springs seized 72 marijuana plants and $20,000 in cash at a suspected grow house here the other day.
Authorities arrested 38-year-old Wesley Johnson after a search of the home at 529 Johnson Ferry Road.
In addition to the plants and cash, detectives say they found 6.5 pounds of processed marijuana and a handgun. An indoor grow operation was found in the basement, police said.
Johnson is charged with trafficking marijuana, distribution of marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies.
