US Robertson Company to announce promotion of Holemon

FLORIDA: Joe Bradley, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Robertson Banking Company, is pleased to announce the promotion of Gary Holemon to President effective September 17, 2015. Holemon has also been elected to the Robertson Banking Company Board of Directors.

“Mr. Holemon’s experience in banking will be vital as the Bank moves forward and we continually strive to meet the needs of our customers and the community. We are fortunate to have him help lead the Bank in this new expanded role,” said Robertson Banking Company CEO Albert H. Garrett.

Holemon started his banking career with South Trust Bank in Birmingham. From there he transferred back to his hometown of Tuscaloosa with South Trust Bank of Tuscaloosa County where he worked in a variety of lending and management positions. In 1994, Holemon joined Robertson Banking Company as a commercial lender.

He has been active in managing the bank’s loan portfolio and will continue to do so in his new role. He has served as the Secretary to the Board of Directors, and to the Director’s Loan Committee.Holemon graduated from the University of Alabama with a concentration in Finance and Bank Administration.
