LONDON: Wall Street fell on Thursday, a day after the Federal Reserve’s cautious stance on interest rates spurred strong gains, as a stronger dollar weighed on oil and other COMMODITY PRICES, sending energy and materials sectors lower.
The Dow Jones industrial average fell 117 points, or 0.65%, to 17,959, the S&P 500 lost 10 points, or 0.49%, to 2,089 and the Nasdaq Composite added 10 points, or 0.19%, to 4,992.
