WASHINGTON: Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President and Head of International Affairs Myron Brilliant issued the following statement in response to U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker’s announcement regarding the first U.S.-Ukraine Business Forum, which will be hosted by the Chamber in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Commerce.

“The Chamber is pleased to be a partner in hosting this important effort to bring together the people of the United States and Ukraine. As we’ve seen in the past, free enterprise and private-sector leadership are vital to transforming economies and creating opportunity around the world. Bringing together U.S. and Ukrainian government and business leaders will enable us to learn from the past, identify current economic obstacles and opportunities, and lay the groundwork for future collaboration. We look forward to working with our partners to make this event a success and continuing a dialogue that will lead to further economic growth and stability.”
