VIRGINIA: The marijuana was seized here the other day from a section of Lamplighter Mall, which is on Williamson Road in North Roanoke County. The marijuana was in a large wooden crate that was shipped from Arizona.
Three people have been arrested. Ronald Crenshaw and Lenard English, both of Roanoke, have been arrested. Charges of trafficking and possession with the intent to distribute are pending. The third person has not been identified because he gave authorities a false name.
Virginia State Police Sergeant Richard Garletts said the suspects were taking the marijuana into 5959 Recording Studio. After obtaining a search warrant from the business, investigators found a “substantial” amount of cash inside.
“They were taking it in to the door adjacent to that studio. The way I understand it is, that is connected to that studio,” Garletts said.
Garletts said investigators received a tip from Pennsylvania State Police.
