KARACHI: The exchange rate of US Dollar strengthened by 22 paisa in the interbank on Wednesday against Pakistani rupee.
The greenback closed at 164.55 rupees on third business day of the week. It had closed at Rs164.33 in the interbank market on Tuesday. The US dollar has surged by Rs1.25 since June 5.
On the other hand, the stock market gained 264.48 points during the third trading day of this business week after which the 100 Index closed at 35065.08 points.
