RAWALPINDI: Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has increased prices of some essential food items.
According to the notification, the price of split lentil increased from Rs162 to Rs190 per kg, while price of chickpea raised from Rs213 to 300.
Earlier, price of 75 gram toothpaste went up by Rs20, toilet roll paper by Rs5, dishwashing sponge by Rs66, window cleaner by Rs43 while tissue paper after Rs25 increase now would be sold at Rs198.
The price of match pack has gone up by Rs10 and the new price would be Rs50 while the price of 1 kg mixed pickle has gone up by Rs55 would be sold at Rs333, the notification read.
