VAG to increase market shares in Poland in 2015

WARSAW: Vienna Insurance Group (VAG) plans to increase its market share in Poland in 2015.In 2014 VIG Polska suffered a gross written premium decline to PLN 4.56 billion from PLN 5.22 billion in 2013, with the group’s market share slipping to 8.3% from 9%. Premiums in the property segment decreased by 2% to PLN 2.33 billion, while in life – by 21% to PLN 2.23 billion.

Vienna Insurance Group holds majority stakes in such Polish insurers as Benefita TU, Compensa TU, Compensa TUnZ, InterRisk TU, Polisa-Zycie TU and Skandia ZTU.
