PARAGUACHÓN: For the purpose of coordinating, supporting, and strengthening communication between Venezuela’s National Customs and Tax Administration Service (Seniat) and Colombia’s National Tax and Customs Agency (DIAN) at the Paraguachón Customs Office, authorities have set up a working group entrusted with the nationalisation of food within the framework of the 11th Exceptional Plan for the Supply of Basic Staples and Raw Material for Food Manufacturing.
Paraguachón Customs Office Chief Henry Rincón has explained that as instructed by superintendent José David Cabello Róndón and as coordinated by the Venezuelan consul in Riohacha, José Justo Guanda, a set of meetings have been held in order to meet the specific requirements set out by President Nicolás Maduro and his Colombian counterpart, Juan Manuel santos. The idea is to guarantee success in the operations so as to continue fighting against speculation, and securing food supply to the Venezuelan people.
