HANOI: Vietnam has posted a trade deficit of $24.3 billion with China in the first nine months of 2015, nearly doubling its exports to the northern neighbour in the period, the Thanh Nien (Young People) newspaper reported, citing Vietnam Customs data.
Imports from China in the January-September period totalled $36.7 billion, or 30 percent of Vietnam’s import spending, the report said.
