FPCCI sets to act as catalyst for exploring Pak-Vietnam gigantic consumer market

KARACHI: There is a great demand for Pakistani products including textile, chemical, rice, leather, sports goods and surgical instrument in Vietnam and the upcoming first-ever high-level visit of FPCCI businessmen will leave a far-reaching impact of trade ties between the two countries.

This was stated by Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) President Zakaria Usman while talking to Second Secretary and head of Vietnam Trade Mission in Pakistan Vu Viet Dzung during a meeting.

The FPCCI chief stressed that Pakistan and Vietnam provide huge consumer market for growing population of these countries, adding that the FPCCI delegation visit to Hanoi scheduled from December 2, 2014 would boost the mutual trade.

Delegation will include members of Pakistan Vietnam Business Council of FPCCI. This will be the first-ever visit of private sector people to Vietnam, which is being planned in coordination with head of Trade Mission of Vietnam. The purpose of the delegation is to promote bilateral trade and economic relations between the two countries.
