BRISTOL Tenn: The new CEO of the Bristol Chamber of Commerce is a familiar face to many in Bristol and beyond. Beth Rhinehart grew up in Bristol, served as government relations director for Wellmont Health System and is a longtime member of the Bristol Virginia School Board, for which she was just this week chosen to serve as chairwoman for another year.

Officially named head of the chamber Thursday, Rhinehart said she’s excited about the opportunity. She’s slated to start in about three weeks and although she’s looking forward to her new role, the decision was not an easy one.
