NEW DELHI: Volkswagen India has launched a special edition of the facelifted Volkswagen Vento dubbed as Magnific. This special edition is available only in two trim levels of Highline and Comfortline and is currently out for sale in various showrooms across the country. The year 2015 has so far started very well for the German auto maker as it has retailed a total of 3,853 units in February 2015, thereby registering 10 percent more sales compared to figures obtained in February 2014.
Some of the most notable features of the Volkswagen Vento Magnific includes dual airbags that have been kept standard just like the facelifted Vento, which adds to the safety value of the car and is really on the right track in developing high benchmarks for the safety of cars.
The Highline variant of the vehicle is the most high end trim of Vento Magnific and therefore gets better facilities including a 7 inch touch screen Blaupunkt infotainment system. This infotainment system is further facilitated with built-in GPS that provides for a more accurate and easy navigation to reach your destination. Further the car gets Bluetooth phone integration for taking calls or streaming audio files whereas it is made compatible for USB as well, so pen drives and other similar devices can be attached. iPhone and iPod also are compatible with the infotainment system.
The entertainment does not stop there, at least for the rear seat passengers as they get an 8 inch Blaupunkt Android Tablet which can be used for watching movies, playing games or enjoying any other multimedia activity. Further the tablet has 3G connectivity and Wi-Fi compatibility for speedy Internet accessing while users can also make or receive calls through it using two numbers since the tablet supports dual SIM.
The Comfortline trim is not as luxurious, however, it does have its perk including alloy wheels, scuff plates with Vento badging and Garmin navigation device. This mid-sized sedan is priced between Rs.8.57 lac and Rs.10.42 lac.
