LAHORE: The hydel power stations of Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) delivered about 31.88 billion units of low-cost electricity to the national grid in 2015.
According to the Wapda spokesperson, the authority has also delivered about 2.95 billion units during the first two months of the current calendar year of 2016. He said thus an increase of 208.75 million units (0.66 percent) and 238.223 million units (8.78 percent), respectively, was registered, compared to the corresponding periods of yester years.
