POLAND: Warsaw Stock Exchange hopes to attract at least a few major IPOs to the tune of over EUR 100 million each, and is looking for new issuers abroad, WSE operator GPW CEO Pawel Tamborski said at a press conference.
“We also know of preparations of a few large offerings by private entities worth over EUR 100 million each,” on top of Bank Pocztowy offering in the autumn and Poczta Polska in 2016, “which may draw a bigger crowd of new retail investors,” Tamborski said.
We’re expecting subsequent bond debuts close to the value of Enea’s issue,” the CEO said, referring to a PLN 1 billion offer by the power group in Q2. At end-June the financial market regulator KNF was handling 22 issue prospectuses, of which 6 came from listed companies.
