WeBoc system collapses at Lahore airport due to technical fault

LAHORE: The WeBoc system Tuesday collapsed and Good Declarations were cleared through One Customs system at Import section of Allama Iqbal International Airport.

The failure of the WeBoc system was tackled by One Customs system to some extent. However, on the whole the importers of textile and various other industrial complained that their goods were not cleared and they have to face additional storage charges. They urged the authorities concerned to take corrective measure to restore WeBoc system at the Import Section of the airport.

Official sources, on the other hand, said that the WeBoc system collapsed due to some technical issues with main server at the airport and that they were doing their best to correct it.
