Customs Today compiles list of highest, lowest tax paying ministers in Punjab

LAHORE: Weekly Customs Today got a detailed report of tax payment by all ministers. The report has taken three years for compilation.

According to the tax payment report, Minister for Women Development Hameeda Waheed-ud-Din has been declared as the poorest minister who hasn’t paid any tax. Hameeda didn’t pay even a single penny to national kitty in last three years. Another minister of Punjab cabinet Mian Atta Manika paid only 3,995 rupees in three years.

Provincial minister for higher education is very low in the tax payment and he paid only 12,765 in three years.

Minister Auqaf Zaeem Qadri has paid Rs96000 in three years while Rana Sanaullah has paid almost Rs2million in three years. Minister for Primary Health Khwaja Imran Nazeer paid Rs120396.

Provincial Minister Sheikh Alauddin has paid the highest amount of tax of Rs380million. Excise Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman has paid an amount of Rs2million tax during last three years.

The report has declared some of the ministers as the highest tax paying people while other as the least ones.
