Weightlifter Nooh Dastgir Butt visits Customs House, Lahore

LAHORE: Renowned Pakistani weightlifter and Asian Powerlifting Champion Nooh Dastgir Butt visited the Customs House and held a special meeting with Collector Customs Enforcement, Muhammad Saeed Wattoo. 

During the meeting, Collector Saeed Wattoo congratulated Nooh on his remarkable victory in the Asian Powerlifting Championship, where he lifted an impressive 400 kilograms to clinch the title. Saeed Wattoo also personally adorned Nooh with a medal as a token of appreciation.

Expressing his gratitude, Nooh Dastgir Butt said, “By the grace of Allah and the prayers of the nation, I won the Asian Championship. The competition was tough, but my dedication and passion for Pakistan fueled this success.” 

Collector Saeed Wattoo emphasized the significance of Nooh’s achievement, stating, “Nooh Dastgir Butt’s success holds great meaning for Customs and the entire nation. It is an honor for Customs to bestow him with an honorary position.” 

He further added, “We pray for Nooh’s success in the upcoming World Weightlifting Championship and stand firmly behind him in his journey.” 

Nooh Dastgir Butt’s victory continues to inspire the nation, highlighting the importance of perseverance and national pride.
